The Further you go the more shocking it gets...
We are at the end of the GI segment.. Today's lecture was on "Approach to Rectal and Anal".. 168 slide of pictures in one hour...
There are way more things that can go wrong down there than i thought... I could never be a proctologist and keep a straight face...

And all the students are like:

Where are these answers coming from???
When the answers for the TBL questions don't come from the reading or the lecture slides. And actually the book, lecture slides, lecturer and literature all say different things...
The " I'm so over it": displays their frustration in the form of sighs and swears.
Which one do you think is me? Which one would you be?

These are the 5 types of Student responses:
The "Turtle" : shrinks in to a small ball and moans every 2 mins while rocking back and forth.
The "Learning Opportunity": Still shows unfailing interest and wants to know every detail of why each answer is correct or not.
The " I'm so over it": displays their frustration in the form of sighs and swears.

The "Vocal Student": Points out everything that is wrong with every single question and argues for their answer until the prof folds and gives them the points.
And of course
The "Gunner": knows every answer, pathway, prognosis and treatment even for diseases that were never lectured on and are not clinically significant. Gunner gonna Gun.

How does He do that???
When a lecturer is so good that he convinces you that you actually like the material in class, then when you get home you are just like...
How'd he do that?
Dr. James, you have made the Professor Hall of Fame for making Renal interesting and fun.#ProfHallofFame
